Miss Amelia is a gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to blossom in the right home. A little shy at first, this beautiful girl has made incredible strides in foster care and is ready to find her forever family. She may be a bit cautious around loud noises and fast movements, but give her a little time and patience, and you'll soon see her affectionate, silly side. Amelia adores chin scratches and ear rubs — she’ll even nuzzle her face into anything nearby when she’s happy. And the sweetest bonus? She gives the gentlest kisses when she’s feeling extra loved.

While Miss Amelia doesn’t like being picked up, she will curl up in your lap once she feels safe, soaking up attention and doling out purrs. She’s quite the curious climber and loves to perch up high, watching the world go by. She’s also a fan of “Cat TV” and can spend hours watching birds and butterflies or chasing her favorite spring toy.

She would do well in a calm home with adults or older children. Amelia shows a playful interest in other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline companion close to her age.
